Fire Breakout In Ikeja Shoprite

I just received reports that there has been a fire outbreak in Mr. Price, one of the many malls inside the Ikeja City Mall in Lagos.


The fire started at about 11am and caused panic among shoppers. Sources said that the Lagos State Fire Service, which has one of their offices situated behind the mall, responded promptly and the fire is being dealt with.

Mr. Price – where shoppers purchase clothes and other body wears – is located close to Entrance 1 of the mall.
The entire mall had been evacuated as at the time of filing in this report.

The cause of the inferno is yet to be ascertained.
