Photos : 3500 couples tie the knot in a mass wedding in South Korea

3,500 identically-dressed couples from over 70 countries tied the knot in a mass wedding held in South Korea.

The couples belong to the Unification Church and many were from different nationalities who met just days earlier and some don't even speak the same language.

This is the first mass wedding since Church "messiah" and founder Sun Myung Moon passed away at age 92, five months ago.

The mass wedding occurred in a stadium at the church's Gapyeong headquarters, 400 of the latest church members who married had chosen to be paired off just days earlier, as opposed to the church's traditional parental arranged marriage.
