The Journey : Tuface and Annie Idibia's Wedding - How It All Started.

The journey to Dubai, which plays venue to the iconic 2face (Innocent Ujah Idibia) and his pretty bride Annie Macaulay today, started many years ago. 

The journey of the wedding of the year began like a joke in Even Ezra Studio where Tuface bumped into Annie. She was just fifteen. There were friends for a long time. Maybe they did steal kisses and do the unmentionables while they were friends but officially declared they were dating when Africa Queen video was shot in 2004. Music is powerful.

Like many other stories where cupid played host, this wasn’t without its share of challenges as they has their many ups and downs. They broke up and came back and Tuface impregnated two different women (Pero Adeniyi and Sumbo Ajaba) and from all indications, it was clearly over between the two.

February 14, 2012 at a quiet section of Jay Jay Okocha’s Club 10 in Victoria Island Tuface fell on his knees and asked Annie to marry him. Annie screamed Yes! in tears and that was the beginning of another mile in their love journey.

May 1, 2012 Tuface legalized his union with Annie, secretly at a Lagos Registry, shortly after his concert. This was followed by a traditional wedding on the 8th of March, 2013 in Akwa Ibom (Annie’s State of Origin).

Dubai will trend on Twitter today as it claims to host the wedding of one of Africa’s biggest and best artiste. The prestigious Jumeirah hotel is the destination and entry is strictly by invitation or by paparazzi(they take you in with photos from the event).

The Journey of Tuface and Annie Idibia is beyond love and faithfulness. It is a tale of forgiveness, a message of understanding and friendship that can only be divinely orchestrated.
