It remains unclear where singer Mohamed Mounir stands on the change in his county. As demonstrations break out in the streets in towns around Egypt, it's easy to be confused. Mounir has been called the voice of Egypt for his voice, and his choice of songs that spoke on behalf of of the common man. He was partying three weeks ago and his album was selling big, all that away from politics.
Now thought Mounir raises to the challenge and deliver a heart filled song about the changes he seems around him. He no longer find his home. If you truly loved Egypt, then you should be concerned as voices of reasons are marginalized and voices of stubbornness take over.
This is a cry song to appeal to everyone to take it easy and keep Egypt above all. As Mounir walks the streets trying to figure out to come home, he is unable to tell whether what he seems around him is truly what once was home--a place he loved as long as he lived. This is apolitical song, but rather an emotional one that might inspire some people to step back and think again about the consequences of their actions.
