Pop El Esseily On Freedom And A Decent Life

He is no indie and his is no hip hop. Mahmoud  El Esseily is Mr. Pop. He is one of those B list singers who has a large fan base at home and few around the Arab world. He was cool from 2005 till 2009. But then he was gone. 2012 sees a lot of action from this once cool dude.

He made a song against drugs in Egypt with Zap Tharwat, then had a number of concerts around Egypt. But he seems not ready to hand his microphone as of yet. He still wants to party and his latest song makes the case. His song is for Egypt and its people. Titled, the people want a decent life. I like the melody, even though I feel I have heard it somewhere else before. It's a catchy song that works well for Mahmoud.

I do not like his bald look--it makes me look different, not something the ladies would approve of. But everything in Egypt is becoming a lot more serious, why not some serious look for a pop star who have sang for romance and over before. His song is about freedom, so he does have the freedom to do what he wants for himself.
