Okorocha discharged from London hospital-Commissioner

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has been discharged from a London hospital after receiving treatment for injuries hesustained in an auto crash last Friday, the state’s Commissioner for Information Culture and Tourism, Mr. Chinedu Offor, said inOwerri yesterday.
He said Okorocha has been discharged from the hospital, where he spent three days and that he is now receiving treatment as an out-patient.

Offor expressed joy over what he described as the speedy recovery of the governor, adding that Okorocha would soon return to the country.
He commended the people of the state for their prayers and good wishes, assuring the determination of the governor to transform the state.
Daily Trust gathered that friends and political associates, including Speaker and members of state House of Assembly travelled to London to see the governor.
It was gathered that the governorwas driving himself when the incident occurred, and that he was injured in the head.
