One Of Super Eagles' Assistant Coaches is intimidated by my presence and achievements - Yobo


Super Eagles Captain, Joseph Yobo, has sensationally declared that one of the assistant coaches in the national team is envious of his achievement and intimidated with his presence.
Yobo on Tuesday told a Lagos Sports radio station, Brilla FM, that he is currently being disrespected by the national team handlers despite his 11-years of hard work and sweat for the country.
The 32-year old defender declined to be specific on whom amongst the assistant Super Eagles coaches he was referring to but was, however, unequivocal in his in his claim.

“I don’t want to mention names, but somebody in the technical crew is obviously intimidated by my achievements and presence.
The Fenerbahce of Turkey defender is Nigeria’s most capped player with 95 games under his belt already. Yobo has also put in over a decade of service to the national team which has seen him attend two World Cup tournament and six Nations Cup appearances.
“They said I wasn’t fit at the AFCON, but I’ve been playing regularly for my club ever since. Somebody obviously feels intimidated,” Yobo said.
Coach Stephen Keshi is currently being assisted by the quartet of Daniel Amokachi, Sylvanus Okpala Valere Houandinou and Ike Shorunmu in his job as the national team handler.
