New Born Baby Rescued From Toilet Pipe After Being Flushed By Parents


Firefighters have rescued a new born baby flushed down a toilet by his parents in China. The two day old baby was stuck in a sewage pipe directly beneath a toilet commode in a residential building in Jinhua in the wealthy coastal provience of Zhejiang on Saturday afternoon, Chinese state TV reports.

According to the report, the firefighters received a call from resident of block of flats saying that they heard a baby crying and believed a baby was stuck in the pipe. When firefighters got to the place, they removed the pipe and took it to a nearby hospital where doctors carefully cut open the pipe and rescued the baby boy inside the pipe.

The baby whose placenta was still attached, was believed to have been stuck in the pipe for hours. Medical practitioners said it was a miracle that the baby survived, he's been taken care of, and police are still looking for the parents.
