Shameless 42-Year-Old Man Impregnates His Own Daughter In Abuja.

A Karu, Abuja, Upper Area Court has remanded 42-year-old Rufua Alabi in prison custody after he was arraigned for impregnating his 16-year-old daughter.

The prosecutor, Cpl Pascal Njoku told the court that Alabi of Kurudu Village, Abuja, committed the offence sometime last year, following which the daughter was carrying a six-months-old pregnancy for him.

He said that the girl's mother, Bose reported the matter at the Jikwoyi Police Station, after she found out that her daughter was pregnant and that Bose took her daughter to the hospital where a doctor confirmed that she was pregnant.

He said the victim confessed to her mother and the elder brother that her father was responsible for her pregnancy.
“My father on many occasions, had sexual intercourse with me when nobody was at home and warned me never to tell anybody about the affair," the girl revealed.

The offense is contrary to the Penal Code.

The presiding judge, Alhaji Umar Kagarko ordered that Alabi’s bail application come in form of a motion and adjourned the case to July 3, for hearing.

Abuja police deny bomb blast in Karu.

The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command on Tuesday refuted reports that there was a bomb blast in Karu area of Abuja.
Speaking during a press conference, the Commissioner of Police in Abuja, Femi Ogunbayode, agreed that there was an explosion in the area, but asserted, in largely unclear terms that it was not a bomb blast.
In what seemed a lacking attempt to douse the fears of Abuja residents, Mr. Ogunbayode said the explosion was from something he termed “commercial explosives,” leaving no explanation to the term.
Mr. Ogunbayode, while assuring residents of FCT of the safety of their lives and property, told newsmen that the police have commenced investigations on the storage of explosives at the site of the incident.
On Easter Monday, reports of an explosion at an empty land behind Mr. Biggs in Karu had put Abuja residents in fear.
The explosion which occurred at about 4 p.m. shattered glasses of nearby buildings.

ANIEKEME FINBARR SNEAKS OUT OF UYO, FINALLY TAKES UP APPOINTMENT AT BUSH HOUSE

Aniekeme Finbarr Ukpong, the self-styled Prime Minister of the Airwaves has sneaked out of Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital. He quietly flew off to Abuja to take up his appointment as the S.A on Programmes and Presentation at WorldWin Media, owners of BushHouse Nigeria.

Aniekeme Finbarr, it could be recalled shot in to fame with his great presentation skills and mastery of ‘Oyinbo’ language which made him a listeners’ delight at BushHouse.

But since the program was yanked off the air (on AKBC Radio) early last year on the heels of a very controversial political interview, Finbarr had been off the widely followed program even when it resumed operations on Kapital FM and later Radio Nigeria network.

We learnt he had initially refused relocating to Abuja but may have been persuaded by the owner of the media outfit, Michael Bush which he later gave in to.

Connoisseur.com wishes him well at FCT and all his endeavours there. Congratulations bro!!!
