Amr Diab Flies To Sydney For Arabic Music Festival

The festival on Sydney will be in February 2, 2013, but you really cannot have a music festival away form Arabia and not include the King of Arabia's pop. Amr Diab will be in his flesh singing and celebrating in Australia, a country where many Arabs call it home.

Amr Diab most likely has fans from that country who do not speak Arabic, yet they find themselves gravitating toward his music. The teaser video on the singer's YouTube channel has the following link, but the event has yet to go on sale.

Amr Diab rocked out in the States, but this time he will take his show to the outbacks, down under. Australia is the home of many Lebanese immigrants, Australia is not a popular choice for too many Arabs. Whatever there are, Amr will give them his A game.

ميسي على بعد هدف من رقم مولر

في عام 1972، أثار الأسطورة الألماني السابق جيرد مولر دهشة وإعجاب الجميع في أوروبا والعالم بعدما حطم الرقم القياسي لعدد الأهداف التي سجلها أي لاعب في عام ميلادي واحد.

وسجل مولر 85 هدفا مع بايرن ميونيخ والمنتخب الألماني في عام 1972 ليحطم الرقم القياسي السابق الذي كان مسجلا باسم الأسطورة البرازيلي بيليه برصيد 76 هدفا في عام 1958.واعتقد كثير من المراقبين أن هذا الرقم يستحيل تحطيمه في ظل تطور الأساليب الدفاعية وصرامتها في عالم كرة القدم.

وشهدت العقود الأربعة الماضية العديد من المهاجمين العظماء مثل ماريو كيمبس وباولو روسي وجاري لينكر وروماريو وريفالدو ورونالدو. لكن أيا من هؤلاء النجوم لم يستطع الوصول لرقم مولر الذي ظل صامدا على مدار 40 عاما حتى جاء المهاجم الأرجنتيني الفذ ليونيل ميسي /25 عاما/ ليهدد عرض مولر حيث أصبح على بعد هدف واحد لمعادلة هذا الرقم القياسي وقد يستطيع من خلال المباريات المتبقية له في عام 2012 أن يحقق الرقم الذي يستحيل تحطيمه بالفعل.

ومنذ أن بدأ ميسي مسيرته مع الفريق الأول لبرشلونة عام 2004 وهو في السابعة عشر من عمره، أصبح هذا اللاعب المتألق هو النجم الأبرز لدى مشجعي الفريق الكتالوني العريق وحطم العديد من الأرقام القياسية وما زال يهدد مزيدا منها. وحقق ميسي رقما قياسيا جديدا في الموسم الماضي عندما سجل 50 هدفا لفريقه في الدوري الأسباني.

كما سجل اللاعب هدفين مساء أمس السبت قاد بهما الفريق للفوز الكاسح 5-1 على ضيفه أتلتيك بلباو ورفع رصيده إلى 84 هدفا مع برشلونة والمنتخب الأرجنتيني في عام 2012 ليصبح على بعد هدف واحد من معادلة رقم مولر الأسطوري.

وذكرت إذاعة "راك 1" في إقليم كتالونيا اليوم الأحد "ميسي يقترب" وأضافت "الجميع الآن على ثقة في أنه سيحطم الرقم القياسي. لن يمنعه سوى إصابة أو زلزال".

ويتصدر ميسي حاليا قائمة هدافي الدوري الأسباني للموسم الحالي برصيد 21 هدفا ليكون أعلى رصيد من الأهداف يسجله أي لاعب في هذه المرحلة من المسابقة كما قاد برشلونة لتقديم أفضل بداية لأي فريق في تاريخ مسابقة الدوري الأسباني. وحرمت العارضة ميسي من معادلة رقم مولر خلال مباراة الأمس حيث تصدت لهدف مؤكد من اللاعب كان سيرفع رصيده في المباراة إلى ثلاثة أهداف (هاتريك) ويعادل رصيد المدفعجي مولر (85 هدفا).

وما من أحد يشك الآن في أن ميسي سيحطم رقم مولر نظرا للمستوى الرائع لميسي في الوقت الحالي إضافة إلى نشوته الرائعة بمولوده الأول تياجو حيث يهدي إليه كل هدف يسجله منذ أن ولد تياجو قبل ثلاثة أسابيع. وما زالت الفرصة سانحة أمام ميسي بقوة لتحطيم الرقم القياسي لمولر وتعزيزه حيث يخوض برشلونة خمس مباريات أخرى في عام 2012.

وينتظر أن يقود ميسي هجوم برشلونة في مباراته الصعبة أمام بنفيكا البرتغالي في دوري أبطال أوروبا يوم الأربعاء المقبل. كما يلتقي برشلونة كلا من ريال بيتيس وأتلتيكو مدريد وبلد الوليد في الدوري الأسباني وقرطبة في كأس ملك أسبانيا.

Jean-Marie Riachi "Castana" Arabic Christmas Album

Chestnut or Castana, is a new Christmas album from the production of popular Lebanese producer and composer Jean-Marie Riachi (JMR). The album features six songs by Yara and 2 for Lara Scander. Two Christian young women with incredible voices. Jean is one of their biggest fans and cheerleaders so it makes sense he puts them on his Christmas and Holiday album.

The album also has two Christmas melodies, and duets for new and upcoming stars like Kristina Haddad and Mark Raeedy. Here's a thought why does not one working on this album has an Arabic name? Aren't you curious?  I know many non-Christians also celebrate this holiday. An Arabic album is a great idea to warm up this otherwise cold season.

The album revisits all those Christmas songs from English and other languages  turning them into Arabic and using Arabic notes and instruments. The album was an idea that came a year ago, and become a reality this year. It does feel like the album is made for cultural reasons and not commercial reasons, but money helps both incentives. 

The album will release officially tomorrow, but it has already been on the top of virgin mega store charts in Beirut.

Haifa Wehbe is going to outlast us all, she is the Madonna of our part of the world, she has so many images, so many tricks that she keeps bringing out form her bag. We have to stand by and watch her do her thing, so check out his light filled music video, it feels like a Las Vegas Gentleman club. Flash dance it's and I am now remembered a music video for J. Lo that might have done similar affects.

I have no reasons to doubt that this will be a dazzling music video....so we have to see it, but the promo gives you an peak.
