Wizkid Missing On Banky W’s ‘R&BW’ New Album, EME Logo Missing In New Wizkid Video

Early this week, Banky W released the official tracklist for his fourth solo album, ‘R&BW’ and just as we guessed, former EME label act Wizkid is missing from the track list.

The album features other EME signees Skales, Niyola and Shaydee, among other cameos, such as rappers Lynxxx, Vector, eLDee, M.I, L-Tido, Sarkodie, singers Sammy, Rotimi and 2face Idibia.


Wizkid seems to have other plans too – after spending many weeks in the UK, he has released his first post-EME video, a new collaborative single titled ‘The matter‘ which features production from UK based Maleek Berry.

The video opens with ‘Starboy Ent’ – the new label allegedly owned by Wizkid. There is no sign of the usually seen EME logo.

At this point, is there still any point in denying that both parties may have gone their separate ways?

Many say the determining factor will be whether or not Wizkid shows up at Banky W’s ‘The Grand Love’ concert in Lagos on Friday, February 15, 2013.

Wiz has already told us he will be premiering another video ‘Azonto’ that same day and will be performing at Julius Agwu’s ‘Festival of Love’ on February 16, 2013.
