Nigeria retains 30th spot in latest FIFA rankings

The Super Eagles remain in the 30th position in the latest FIFA rankings, for the second month running.


The African Champions also stay 4th in the rankings amongst Africa teams.

Nigeria climbed up 22 places in the rankings, following their stunning victory at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations – their best rating since August 2010.

Cote d’Ivoire remains the highest ranked African team in 13th position, while Ghana occupies the 20th position.

Spain continue to lead the rest of the world at number one, Germany is in second place, Argentina sits in third and are followed by England and Italy.
