David Moyes Appointed As New Manchester United Boss As Alex Fergoson Resigns


David Moyes who coached Everton for eleven years has been appointed as sir Alex Ferguson's successor. The deal is a six-year deal starting July 1st 2013.

The 50-year old was out of contract at Everton at the end of the season.

"We unannimously agreed on David Moyes" said Ferguson who recently announced his retirement.

"David is a man of intergrity with a strong work ethic. I have admired his work for a long time and have approved him as far back as 1998 to discuss a position as assistance coach here.

"There is no question he has all the qualities we expect as a manager at this club" he added.

David who was recommended by Ferguson said it was a great honour for him to be appointed as the new manager of Premiere league champions and promised to give his best to ensure the club maintains that position and attain higher or bigger ones.
