Contrary to the rumour making the round that the State Governor, Sullivan Chime had passed on, Enugu State Commissioner for Information, Chuks Ugwoke has described as the handiwork of mischief makers and that Chime was very much alive.

He stressed that the Governor had no business, health or otherwise in India and vowed that this time around, the government would get to the root of the rumour, to unmask those behind the incessant posting of such fake news in the internet.
