Exclusive: Nsikak Umoh ousted from Nigerian Idol

CONNOISSEUR has scooped that Akwa Ibom’s only representative at the on-going Nigerian Idol has been ousted from the music reality TV show. We learnt exclusively that the recording for the elimination of 20 contestants took place yesterday and Nsikak Umoh was unable to make it to the top 10 of the show which is in its season 2.

    We learnt from the source that though he’s got a great talent to have made him one of the contestants jostling for the top prize, but his votes were not enough to catapult him to the top 10. The source said “Many candidates invested up to three hundred thousand Naira and more. They were making investment because it is 15 Million Naira that is up for grabs. It is a pity that Nsikak is ousted. He has carved a niche for himself by making it to the top 30.”

    Those who made it to the top 10 will be announced tonight as the show will be screened tonight in some cable TV stations.

Pulse publisher set for dedication of first child

The publisher of Community Pulse newspaper, Mr. Uko Friday Umoh will on Sunday, 15^th January, 2012 take his bundle of joy and first child, Inimfon-Abasi to church for dedication.

    The dedication service will hold at The Apostolic Church, 69 Oron Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State while the reception will follow immediately at the Judiciary Multi-purpose Hall, Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, AKS.

     CONNOISSEUR learnt that who-is-who within and outside Akwa Ibom will throng the very influential publisher’s event.

Mish shoots ‘Replay’ video....… Album listening party to hold on Lovers’ day

Rave of the moment, Mishael Meshach known in the entertainment world as Mish has shot the video of his new single ‘Replay’. The video of Replay which is a typical club jam was shot at M-Lounge, the most appreciated and highly-rated club in Uyo at the moment.  The video was shot and directed by the Indiatrained Eddie Brendan.

   Meanwhile, CONNOISSEUR learnt that the listening party for Mish’s full album which is his debut will hold on February 14, 2012 – Lovers’ day.

   Mish’s monster hit ‘Akwa Ibom Ayaya’ has enjoyed massive airplay while also bringing fame and fortune to the Ibiono Ibom born Mechanical Engineering graduate.
