Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Voted Most Popular CEO.

SOCIAL NETWORK Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg has been voted America’s most popular CEO, with 99 percent of employee’s at the firm saying they ‘like’ their hoodie wearing boss.
Glassdoor reported that Zuckerberg had a 99 percent approval rating among his employees in a recent survey, jumping 14 percent from an 85 percent approval score in last year. The increase in Zuckerberg’s popularity could be attributed to the fact that Facebook had not gone public yet at the time of last year’s survey.
Or it could just be that Mark Zuckerberg has fired everyone who disliked him, or removed them from his Friends list.
“The CEOs who are most successful in gaining employee approval are those who paint a clear vision of what the company is setting out to achieve and how it’s going to get there,” Glassdoor co-founder and CEO Robert Hohman said in a statement.
“To be recognized by your employees as a strong leader also comes as a result of having a solid company culture that helps employees foster the skills necessary to move business forward and meet the needs of customers.”
Other technology CEOs to make the top 50 included Larry Page of Google, Tim Cook at Apple and Larry Ellison at Oracle. However, Tim Cook’s approval rating dropped from last year. The Apple CEO’s rating dropped from 97 percent to 93 percent.
Google’s Larry Page also ranked highly, according to Glassdoor’s survey, tipping up as the 11th most popular CEO this year. His 95 percent approval rating stayed consistent over the course of last year.
Less loved, but mostly liked CEO Larry Ellison rounded out the top 50. Oracle’s founder was ranked the 46th most well-liked CEO with an 82 percent rating. In comparison, Ellison’s former employee and nemesis, Salesforce founder Marc Benioff had a 94 percent approval rating.

TONTO DIKE HAS A FOOD-FOR-THOUGH FOR HER ‘HATERS’

Controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike used her Facebook fan page to give her perceived ‘haters’ a serious food-for-thought…Below is the status on her Facebook fan page….
I luv my haters so much, they make me so popular but one thing about haters on facebook is before they show you that they hate you by using abusive  words on you they’ll first of all ‘like’ your page (which is also liking you). So I think my facebook haters are really confused people by ‘liking’ and hating me at same time.

Wole Soyinka: I do not tweet nor blog

Prof Wole Soyinka
Nigerian writer and  Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka has disclosed that he is not a fan of the social media as he doesn't tweet ,blog or use facebook . A fake account was created on twitter with handle @profsoyinka which currently has 16,186 followers and many fake on facebook too.
In a statement entitled: A Dangerous Game of Impersonation, the renowned playwright expressed anger over the use of his name for indecent circulation of electronic messages.
Once again, taking advantage of a situation of national unrest, some unscrupulous individuals have taken to circulating comments, often of a most distasteful, uncouth and unprincipled nature, in my name. I wish to inform the public that I do not Tweet, Blog, Facebook etc. etc. My public statements are signed and/or go through authorized channels that the media recognize and can authenticate where in doubt. Any electronic message that purports to emanate from me for general circulation through Mobile phones or Internet should be taken as a complete concoction, in most cases by deranged minds with their private and sick agenda.I must remind the public that these are not normal times, and that extreme caution and personal responsibility are needed. It is no time to be taken in by spurious propaganda by cowards who cannot speak in their own voices or acknowledge the names given to them at birth or even acquired during their nefarious careers.Even more than the nausea one feels by being subjected to such identity embezzlement is the danger it poses generally, since it is certain that there are others who are similarly afflicted. One hopes therefore that the Security services , when called upon to assist in tracking down these felons, will recognise this goes beyond individual clamour and will act promptly, not only in unmasking, but in prosecuting them as befit criminal minds with the capacity for incalculable damage to an already fragile social fabric.
