Heidi Klum insists she's "very happy" with bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kristen 

The couple started dating just months after Heidi ended her seven-year marriage to singer Seal.

The relationship raised eyebrows because minder Martin had worked as the family's bodyguard for four years looking after kids

But in an interview with Ellen Degeneres, Heidi insisted the affair isn't a rebound romance - and the couple are still going strong.

She told Ellen: "I'm very happy. The kids are very good. They're happy. They're great."

It's not the first time she's talked about the new man in her life.

Speaking soon after the romance was exposed when the couple were photographed cuddling on the beach in Italy in August - Heidi sang Martin's praises to talk show host Katie Couric.

She said: “I've known him for four years and he's been with our family for the last four years.

“He's cared for our entire family, mostly for our four children, helped us tremendously... I trust him with my children's life.

“He's a great man, you know, and we just got to know each other from a completely different side."

Heidi's ex Seal isn't so happy about her willingness to move on so soon.

After she went public with Martin, the singer snapped: "I would have thought Heidi would have shown a little bit more class and at least waited until we separated.”
