The Best Song That Blends The Past And The Present
Diana Hadad was the girl of the late 90s and early 2000, up until 2004 when she started doing exclusive Gulf dialect songs that were good locally, but failed to travel outside that area.
That sort of thing made Diana away from the era of the internet, and buried her career for few years in the time time, droves of new talents were emerging on the national Arab scene, and Diana was stuck in the Gulf. I know many talking heads commended her for doing a song with an Egyptian legend.
But back when she was still cool, she had this duet with folk singer Mohammed El Ezzaby--my dad thinks the world of this guy. This song was a wonderful treat from Diana to her fans in Egypt and everywhere. The blending of two forms of singing was successful.
By looking at the stage, there might be little chemistry between those two singers, but their voices match well and the song was a good choice. I liked it then, and I still like it now. Ezzaby has quit the business this year, it's a shame becasue very little attention is paid to this man who has made a lot of people happy.
Enjoy the song.
