Mansour Zayed is kicking off his career with a bang. There is no shame in making songs in Gulf style music and lyrics, as long as this song is good, people will love it. We know this becasue Rashid Al Majid, mohamad Al Mazim, and Talal Salameh and before them Nabil Shi'eel proofed it. You can make a hit in Arabia from the Gulf. not all hist have to be Egyptian and Lebanese.
That's why when Mansour came along with his song Khallouny, I remembered the 90s and early 2000. Singers from the Gulf can be cool but they need to lose their serious face and get into the music they are voicing. They need to act out their songs and show us they believe the words. Mostly Gulf singers prefer to use models and not act themselves in their own music videos. You really cannot do that in the Youtube Era.
Mansour is belivable in this song, he is playing tourist in Turkey I think and has his mp3 player plugged into his ear as he sing. He is not a boy nor is he an old man so his song expresses his real life experience, so the director did not have to do much work as the singer seems to be natural. The singer is the star his music video, but that does not mean the camera cannot roam around and take pictures of real life characters. The beat of his song is obvious to be from the Gulf, but it's not the zombie kind, it's the catchy dance to it kind.
