The easiest way to pay your bills and get booked for concert deals is not easy...unless of course you do what seems to be the new thing to do now...make a song or an album in the Gulf dialect. Darine Hadchiti has no problem in rocking in a pop album, she got the persona, the energy and the fan base to pull it off.
Houdourah is her latest single and her second music video in the last two months. She has good contacts and has no problem getting a song written for her. So when you hear Houdourah "His presence" plays like a poem, and as I said before, there is no shortage of amazing lyrics in the Gulf dialect.
It's a love song and the model gives us a romantic story, Darine did a good job with her Gulf themed make up "Yes, there is something called that", I love the fairy tale it plays like, where lovers make a sacrifice for their loved ones so that they can be together in any form. I liked the creative director who gave us a story that has not been done before. Sure the song is good, but I have heard better. However for Darine, this is a stepping stone.
