The Sweetest Arabic Voice in the Gulf
.Bent Aboy, I am fan of this title song, it implies confidence "the daughter of my father" says a lot about how proud the singer of her ancestor and her family which she uses to get back at the guy who is playing games with her. Again, some new musical elements are introduced in this song supporting the must use Gulf drum. A winner all around.
.El Masayeb, love is war you know where you always play games of jealousy, and passion. This is the song that was filmed. Mashael's voice shines here, the beat is again sticks to the safe Gulf music, but still you can dance to it.
.Ella Ya Rrab, one of my favorite songs on the album, it plays like a prayer to God, asking for help when your love fails and you feel abandoned. We all have been there, except Mashael's warm and sweet voice makes the break up less painful. Love it and appreciate the lyricist.
.Haneen, an Arab woman flirting with her man, a bold choice. The music leaves some to be desired, not my style, the most Gulf themed song in here. I felt it drags on a bit dull.
.Marakby, life is like a body of water and we are all boats trying to make our way through it, another please from broken soul that has been abandoned by an old flaming love that seems to be too real to be forgotten. the Music is very similar to other tracks on this album. The thing that makes this song good is the rich vocabulary lyricists in the Gulf enjoy, they can always come with a fresh way to say something.
.Mnhoo, starts with the Gulf beat and tune, the voice here is sweet, warm and the flow of the lyrics is natural. A safe song that will entertain purists of Gulf music and delight the ones looking for a good beat.
.Ra3ena, love the title, the lyrics are fresh, two thumps up for Mashael's pronunciation, she has mastered the Arabic language here. The music offers you a method to kick back and relax while digesting the wise lyrics.
.Yahoo, the title might sound a bit odd "it has nothing to do without email service company", it's a love song stating by calling people's attention like "Yo, there" When Mashael found out she could not be with her love, she pleas with people to let him be with her and not try to stop him. A slow song that might want you to pay more attention to the lyrics than the music.
.Yeka7elha 3maha, the composer of this song stole the show, offering some innovation with the music here. Again Mashael showcase her superior command of the Arabic langauge. This is a song for women who do not want to be treated like little girls and a wonderful song indeed.
