Jad Choueiri's Sex Revolution Comes To An End

Soft core pop, techno and house fans are in for a treat. Those who want to see Arabic classics butchered also should be happy as the new album of singer director Jad Choueiri has been released to little fanfare.

I think this is an effort by Jad to connect with the younger audience and make himself relevant again, there are not too many singers knocking his door asking him to make music videos--in light of the Arab revolutions skin is not hot now. People don't like to see naked entertainers as of right now.

Jad had his own sex revolution in the early and mid 2000 with dozens of female singers singing with their body parts not their voices.

Update: one person that Jad credited with coming up with a concept song on the cover album have asked the singer to remove his/her name from the cover. The person threatened to sue Jad for using their name.

01.Ash7a Kida, made for the Egyptian market, same annoying computer generated pop melody
02.Kasaretly El Sayarah, the best song on the album
03.Betrodahali, a good beat made for the clubs and people with low IQ. Again made for Egypt
04.Hebbina, an old classic that Jad should have left alone
05.Mech Ayez Ghirak, Jad is actually singing and sounding like somebody who values something
06.Malha Di Biyya, a song borrowed form the Nancy Ajram book
07.Wala Awwal, I thought Jad sang this one before. I am sure some teen out there will enjoy it
08.Ghali, the club mix with some English, I hear Greek beat and the lyrics don't have to make sense
