Fahad, Rida, Humam Platinum Record Promos

Platinum Record has not released a new album for over a month now, last album was Wael Jassar released on the Day of the Eid, last week they released Rida's new album, an album about missed connections and the past. I have actually listened to Rida's album, it's good, but you will love it more if you are a fan. I thought it sounded the same after the sixth song.

There are other albums too that the company is releasing including a poetry album by Fahad read by the poet himself. Those are going to sell in the Gulf where poetry is hot and people often find themselves writing often.

And there's Humam a new young singer with an album about his loved one that has given him a headache, the album is titled "Be Careful" not in a creepy way I hope. Here's are the promos to give you a taste.

Lian Bazlamit, The Next Big Thing From Palestine

When I first heard there is a Palestinian participant on the popular TV show star academy, I was happy, but then there was the regular gossips and chatter about this young lady. The drama about her life and the fallout of her love story covered on her real skill.

Then 3 months later, comes a new single for Lian, I thought we were going to miss her. Man, I am so giddy about this song. It's not your average pop song, it has the quality of a song that has no expiration date. The lyrics are so touching with a title that has never been used before in any other Arabic song..Laylat- Arabic for nights.

Then something tell me this is a new Lian, Lian 2.0, the quality of her vocals seem to have gotten mightier and a lot more charming. Not only does Lian transcend in this song, she takes up a challenge and reveals that she can hold a note and sing with no air in her lungs.

The best part about it, this is Lian she was always being Lian she is not trying to mimic another singer. I respect that and I respect her team for bringing such a sweet and romantic to the bone song. This bog is happy to report Palestine has finally found a young home grown talent that is worthy to represent the people of Palestine to the rest of the Arabic world.

Meryam Faris Will Take You To Hell

She can get away with this, but her boobs and excessive naked leg power. She has told us before, she doesn't mind you looking at her like a piece of meet, undoing the work of all those hard working feminists who want women to be seen by their work and not their bodies.

She is dancing for the man and showing her body around on live tv so you and your children can get a lessoon in anatomy. Meryam has the right to do this stuff of hers anywhere she chooses to, you also have the right to turn off the TV, but the netowkr also should have the right to pay some kind of fee for their violation by airing this clip of legs and boob.

Rima Alsafi, Egypt's Pop Blond Singer

Egypt has about one singer for every one thousand people--I just made that up to make a point that there are many singers. You would think there's enough of them and we will not hear from them for some time. But wrong ti seems that every day there is someone out there posting a new music video, pictures mp3 and asking you to enjoy.

Here comes Rima Alsafi whose new funky music video with a bizarre cowboy thuggish feel to it. But there's also that urban moves and dances you come to know. Also while on the subject of strange, the blond look is not Egyptian and never will be grown locally.

there are so many bikes and cheesy things appearing in the music video that don't make much sense, just like the song itself. there are also the cheap looking CG affects and the endless buffet of outfits the singer features. I really cannot tell you how her voice sounds due to the busy music video.

A Song Unites A Saudi, A Lebanese, An Egyptian

A Lebanese singer, a Saudi poet, and an Egyptian composer work together on this song bringing some new and odd flavor to an Arabic song. Madeline Mattar will sing, Essam Karika, the bad boy of Egyptian music, and the ever changing Saudi poet Sara El Hajjry.

Elaph caught up with the three and visited the studio to get a taste of the new song. This is a light song made by a bunch of artists who have gotten together for this wise sone about the people of romance.

Hoda Saad 2011 Album Titled "Lovebird"

Hoda Saad is one of those artists that works alone and does her thing in a quiet fashion, she is Moroccan, but her base is in Lebanon where those talents call it home. She started as a singer, and now that she has dabbled into music composition, she now is back with a new album that seems to be bringing it all together.

Tayer Al El 'Hob is the title, lovebird about how that bird that brings her the news of the loved one and cures her ills. There are three sample tracks that are out now released by Rotana to warm up for the roll out, at least two of those songs is in the Moroccan dialect.

I am a fan of Hoda's, it has been about three years since I have come across her music and she does not ever let you down with her voice, music or her image. I must say, I like what I heard in the samples and I think the album would be a good addition to this impressive talented and down to earth starlet.

Again, keep on mind Hoda now writs her own lyrics and music, making her light years ahead of half a dozen of those pop singer. She is not just a singer she is the whole package.
