Jonathan Gives ONE Condition To Accept Single Tenure

President Goodluck Jonathan is trying to play a smart game on Nigerians. He wants to complete two terms in office but the governors that would emerge through the 2015 elections may have just one tenure and make the sacrifice for a 6-year Single Tenure. Not him. *And he doesn't give a damn!*

The President, through his adviser on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak,  gave one condition to support the six-year single term for President and Governors being proposed by the Senate Committee on Constitution amendment. Funny enough, the one condition is a U-turn on Jonathan's earlier claims...
The condition is the amendment must take effect from 2009 after President Jonathan would have enjoyed a two-term of four years, if he is reelected in 2015 by Nigerians.

What the Presidency is, however, forgetting is that there would always be fresh sets of governors as some will lose election and others would start a fresh tenure. If Jonathan cannot make the sacrifice for a proposal that first emanated from him, who else does he expect to make such sacrifice?
In fact, in an ideal situation, Jonathan is the best person to make that sacrifice since he already served about 2 years out of the late Umaru Yar'Adua's tenure of four years; making a total of six years for him.
