Fairouz, "My Facebook Page Is Not Your Soap Box"

Everyone's favorite Lebanese Diva just had it with all of her Facebook friends who have turned her official page into a political soap box where dueling parties debate the virtues of the recent developments in the Arab worlds, namely Egypt, Tunisia as well as other places. Not sure if this is the official Fairouz Facebook page, but here a link to one page.

A warning has been posted on the official page of Lebanese diva Fairouz on the social website that is administrated by the diva;s daughter Reema Al Rahbani. The warning is to all the active members on the website requesting them that they will be deleted if they keep posting their political opinions on raging issues pertaining to the current conditions of the region. Come for the music please everyone, for politics watch Aljazeera instead.

I kind of agree with the diva, people just do not know where to share their forums, there are thousands of other places that would love to see such debates. Please leave Fairouz page for music. She is no hero, she is just someone that we all really love, like a grandma but this grandma does not bake cookies, she bakes songs that go on to live forever.
