‘Boyfriend’ Rapes 3 Sisters and Their Mum At Gun Point.

A gang of boys at the weekend raped three sisters and their mother at Illah town, in Oshimili North local government area of Delta State at gun point.
Unfortunately, while the shameful act lasted, other women who heard their shout and rushed to the scene were given the same treatment by the rapists who after threatening to kill them escaped with the women’s wrappers, leaving them nude in the bush…
Spokesman of the Delta State command, ASP Lucky Uyabeme, said the victims were ambushed on their way to the farm, adding that one of the suspects, identified as Chuks had attempted to woo one of the girls, who is a 16-year-old SSII student of one of the secondary schools in the area. He said he wanted to be her boyfriend but she turned him down.He said upon interrogation, Chucks confessed to have invited his gang members who assisted him to rape the girl, her mother and two sisters for turning him down.

It was gathered that the boys emerged from the thick forest and held the victims with AK47s. They stripped the girls and their mother naked before defiling them in turns inside the bush.

Anyway, luck ran out on one of the gang members as he was identified by the girls. Some sympathizers who assisted the victims allegedly contacted the police and they insisted that one of the suspects was a known face in the community.

Chucks is now in police custody and will be used to track down his fellow rapist.

Student To Die By Hanging For Robbing Mate Of N2,000.

An Ogwashi-Uku High Court in Delta State has sentenced a 23-year old student, Aruhor Ezekiel, to death by hanging for robbing another student of N2,000 at gunpoint.

The convict was arraigned on a four-count charge of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and illegal possession of firearms punishable under sections 1 (2)a and 3 (1) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provisions) Act Cap R.II Vol. 14 laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

Prosecution led by Deputy Director in the state Ministry of Justice, Mr. E. Ferdinard, told the court that “Aruhor Ezekiel, on or about the 26th of July 2010 at Umu-Otu quarters within Ogwashi Uku judicial division robbed one Idakpo Friday of his Nokia handset, MP3, wallet containing N2,000, school identity card, clearance card and some complimentary cards while armed with a gun.”

He was also charged for “robbing one Ijie Theophilus of his phone and wallet while also armed with a gun.”

All victims, according to prosecution, were students of Ogwashi-Uku Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, while the convict was a student of Ozoro Polytechnic Ozoro, Delta State.

SSS Men Hold Traffic Officials In Detention For Towing Their Vehicle In Delta.

Officials of the State Security Security (SSS) in Delta state yesterday manhandled four members of the state traffic control task force after allegedly contravening traffic regulation at the Government House Road, Asaba.

The SSS men were said to have bundled the victims into detention but later released and took them to a medical facility for them to receive needed medical attention.

According to reports, the traffic officers had stopped a vehicle driving against traffic and seized his ignition key in a bid to tow his vehicle to the ministry of transport office.

The alleged traffic violator, who had earlier introduced himself as an SSS official quickly mobilised support from the command headquarters and trailed the task force officials to Macdons on Okpanam Road in a bid to retrieve the ignition key.

An eyewitness said the SSS officials shot sporadically into the air and allegedly attacked the task force officials with their guns.

“They actually brutalised the boys after shooting into the air sporadically. They hit them with the guns and harassed them before taking them away,” the eyewitness said.

Other members of the traffic task-force later gathered in front of the SSS office to demand the unconditional release of their colleagues

While the boys were allegedly bundled into detention at the SSS headquarters, other members of the task force in solidarity with their members stormed the SSS office to demand the unconditional release of their colleagues but the situation was later brought under control when the Commissioner for Transport, Ben Igbakpa arrived the scene.

Igbakpa later told reporters that the matter has been conclusively resolved.

Actress Mercy Johnson recently displayed that when it comes to anger management, she is just as vulnerable as super model, Naomi Campbell.

While filming in Asaba, the Delta State capital a couple of months back, the actress lost her cool, seized a fan’s blackberry phone and guess what? Smashed it!

Reason, the fan, a make-up artiste on the set was filming her while in action acting a romantic scene.

Insiders who witnessed the shameful drama on the set of a movie by Amaco Brothers entitled In The Mind, says that all was well until a make-up artiste on set, a female, obviously enthralled by the callipygian decided to record her favourite star on her blackberry phone as she was acting a romantic scene.

Sources say she was in the thick of acting when she noticed what was happening and jumped off set and charged at the make-up artiste. Slapped her across the face, grabbed her black berry phone and smashed it shouting: “This is how it all begins, this is how it all begins. Before you know it they will start writing lies about me in the press!”

So angry was Mrs. Okogie that it took the entire cast to calm her down and she only agreed to continue shooting on one condition that the said make-up artiste be dismissed from the set.

“I am really shocked,” the said make-up artiste moaned as she sobbed obviously in shock at Mercy’s attack. “I respect and love Mercy so much. She is my role model. I never believed she could get so angry and do such a terrible thing to me. Now I have lost my blackberry phone; I am so sad.”

Few years ago, super model, Naomi Campbell had a similar experience after she threw her Blackberry phone at a maid who eventually sued her for assault.
