Crystals wins Star Quest 2012

The star quest 2012 competition has come to an end. Crystalsemerged the winner beating the three other bands Soul Rhythm, Golden Clef, and Quantum Vibes .Six bands entered into the star fameland since last month battling for the top prize.

Da Blingz and D'rayz were evicted last week .

The winning band  'Crystals' went home with a recording contract worth N7.5m, N3.6m cash ,a brand new minivan ,one year accommodation in a choice location in Lagos and they will also get the unique opportunity to perform in Star sponsored events.

SINGER WAJE BECOMES A JUDGE ON STAR QUEST

Nigerian Singer Aituaje "Waje" iruobe has been declared a new judge on Nigerian breweries sponsored show, Star Quest. Waje will replace Freeze of Cool FM and join singers paul play and KCee on judges seat .

The announcement was made by NB PLC,corporate adviser ,Mr Yusuf Ageni who said this year's edition will be more exciting

The band-based music competition will start with auditions in Markurdi,enugu beninand lagos from  February 21 to  March 8. Thirty-six finalists will be selected for the finals and the winning band will walk away with N7.5 Million recording contract, N3.6 Million cash and a brand new mini van.
