Amr Mostafa, the Asshole that Farted

There once was a smart and a creative music composer in Egypt, while few liked him for his arrogant ways, not even fewer will like him after his recent attacks and insults to the youth protesting in Tahrir square. Amr Mostafa is a child of privilege that has done so well under this rotten Egyptian regime, he had contracts with the State TV and was a favorite of theirs when it comes to patriotic and nationalistic songs.

The moment the young men and women of Egypt took to the streets and caused a government shake down bringing about change, the composer turned singer was not happy and he let the world knows that he is a mouthpiece for the regime. At first he did not support those protesters, then he called them names and insulted them by all ugly terms he can muster. Then he took another dangerous step. He called Alarabiya, the Arabic news network and asked those people protesting to leave the square.

He was so angry and mad that they had to hand up the phone on his face, becasue his accusations made no sense. He went on a rant against the media, the Arab world, the protesters. Then he uses some fear tactics and claiming that there are foreigner with weapons who want to do Egypt some harm--a bizarre claim for a tourist attraction country like Egypt. Then he said Yes, and Yes for Mubarak and his regime, he claims that the majority of the people are for Mubarak. Amro might have been right, maybe the majority in his rich circle and social club are for Mubarak.

Before this recent stupid move on the artists part, we had doubts that we was a moron now we know for fact he is one. But of course like many artists now he changed his mind and makes him self a victim. "I am in a bad mental mode becasue of what happens and so is my little daughter." He also goes further, "The protesters brought us democracy" Yes that they did, they brought they very same thing you clearly do not want.

The tone of his phone call indicates that Amr Mostafa has no class, and that he has the tug mentality, he did not speak like a reasonable man, but rather he chose to speak like an angry one. In my book he will go down as a loser...
