Here Comes the Egyptian Opportunist Singers

Screw you Ehab Tawfik, Mohammad Mounir, Screw you Tame Hosny, Screw you Hisham Abbas....these are only few of the Egyptian voices that was hiding...they did not lead anyone and let the young men stand alone...now when things got better for Egypt, these clowns are now out singing for Egypt. But the biggest jerks of all Egyptian artists is the hypocrite Amro Mostafa, a very bright composer, but a clown who dared to insult the protesters and call them names. Amro just came out with a song for Egypt, he can shove that song in his giant ego. Shaaza, a young Egyptian talent that told the protesters to take a hike is back with a song about Egypt. Shaaza might need to update her song, one of the verses implies that Gaza was behind the Alexandria church bombs, this is not has been disputed since the ousted disgraced minister of interior who made those outlandish claims.

They have been cheer-leading the regime, singing for it and sucking up to their party leaders to let them be on TV, now they are making a 360 degree change. They act like the past two decades of their history do not matter and just becasue they make a song about the new Egypt, people will forget their history of selling out. Look the people of Egypt maybe poor, but they are smart and know who is real and who is not. These guys are clowns and they are not fooling anyone.

I do not like opportunist, I hate those singers who were hiding and not supporting the protesters only to come now make a statement that they are for change. No one but Amr Wakid and Khalid Al Sawy, Gihan Hadel the three Egyptian actors/actress who were in the front line, the two actors that asked everyone else to march and did so early on, not now like those clowns who are trying to cash in on the sacrifices of those young men and women. you can also add Khalid Abu Al Naga he stood for change before anyone early almost a year ago.

Everyone else not those stars are jerks, cowards, and opportunists, they deserve no attention. Sure they were great at some point, but now they need not to get involved...just shut the heck up. None of these guys took a stand, and now they came posing as heroes, no it's not going to fly this time...go back to your apartment and mansion you do not serve to celebrate this moment with the rest of the world. Look Amer Diab was quite about this whole ordeal and till now he has not tried to take advantage of this protest...he is a decent man, and most of these guys are not.

Again those are all nice songs and some of them are quite moving, but the artists behind them should not try to cash in the blood of the victims who bled for the change, those artists I am referring to them did not support the protesters and instead they played is safe and hid. So they are no heroes, and such you should keep that in mind when you listen to their music.

For my favorite quote calling those opportunists out, here is what Jihan Fadel had to say about them, link
