Estranged Wife Interrupts Actors Wedding.

This is the true life story of Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi who has shattered the heart of his beautiful wife...the actor kept his wife in faraway Port Harcourt while enjoy himself with a young sexy chick in Lagos. After about six years of marriage, his wife, Lillian, got pregnant for him but that still did not make him change his 'play boy' lifestyle.
Solomon kept his secret love affair with the Lagos babe until he got her pregnant too. Solomon tried to convince the Lagos babe to terminate the pregnancy but she refused and insisted he must marry her. Solomon thought he could play a smart one on his wife since she's based in Port Harcourt, so he accepted and started marriage plans. His wife got wind of her husband's infidelity when she was already eight months pregnant for him but she didn't believe.

Her friends and 'spies' kept updating her until it got to the wedding day proper. Solomon sent money to his wife in Port Harcourt on Friday 12 April, promising to return home 'next week' when he finish shooting a movie in Lagos. His wife used the money and pay transport to Lagos to scatter her husband's secret wedding to his Lagos mistress. True life love-betrayal story in Lagos!

Nollywood actor Solomon was shocked when his pregnant wife stormed with the Overcomers World Outreach church in Surulere, venue of his secret wedding, on Saturday 13th April, 2013. She scattered the wedding before the Pastor could pronounce Solomon and his lover as "husband and wife".

It was men of the Nigeria Police that restored normalcy to the church and save the situation from turning into something else. The wife is crying that her husband has betrayed her. Solomon is saying it was a mistake. I hear Solomon might still marry the girl and make her his second wife. The Actor however came back to the pulpit after several meetings and apologised to his guest explaining that he had separated from his first wife...and estranged wife is claiming she’s pregnant for Solomon.

Nollywood loses male colleague days after Prophet TB Joshua's prophecy

The death fever that has rocked the movie industry since seems to have resumed its break after the death of Gringory in February 28, when it last happened.
According to news that just broke, Nollywood has lost one of its own to the cold hands of death.
This time, it is a movie director named Taiwo Bello. Taiwo died today after a battle with cancer.
Taiwo once worked with Funke Akindele in one of her movies.
Just some days ago, Prophet TB Joshua prophesied that Nollywood will soon lose one of its players.

Just some weeks ago, a prophecy made by top Nigerian prophet and head of Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua on the death of an African leader came to pass.

Alas! It was the President of Malawi that was the victim.

The controversial man of God at his second service on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2012 warned the movie industry to pray against the death of a male actor."Actors in Nollywood should pray against death of a male member of the industry," Prophet TB Joshua warned.

The Nigerian film industry witnessed a series of death last year. Ashley Nwosu, Sam Loco Efe, Geraldine Ekeochaand others all died last.

This year has already witnessed the death of David Ihieze and James Iroha popularly called Gringory.

Journalism student goes nude, says “I want to break into Nollywood”

A 300-level student of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, NIJ, Ogba, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, has gone nude to break into the big league of the glamorous Nigerian movie industry, known as Nollywood, saying she wants to be famous and rich. The 21-year-old student, Ms. Enitan Adeshola Okesanya, vowed to enter the industry with a big bang. “I think there is something missing in the industry and that’s me. I seriously think so. I have got this talent and passion inside me that I want to show to everybody out there. I want the world to see what I have got inside me, the God-given talent inside me, and I know that the media are actually waiting for that young person that will come and blow everybody away.

That’s why I believe that they are looking for me,” she told our correspondent last night as both scanned through her bawdy pictures.

To break into the world’s third biggest movie industry, Enitan said, she will go as far as her strength will carry her. “As long as my strength can carry me. Since it’s about passion, I don’t think I can get tired. I will not stop until I am done, not even when I am tired’’. I love acting. I love fame. I hate poverty and I want to be rich. Ever since I was a child I always wanted to be in the big screen. I think the time has come for me to show the world what I’ve got inside me,” she said.

She said taking controversial pictures make her controversial and appealing. “I think because I am personally crazy. I love creativity. I love doing things that are so unusual. I don’t want to be doing everyday things. When I take a picture and people keep wondering, who’s that girl? I want to just create a controversy. That’s why I love taking crazy pictures,” she said. Enitan said she will use acting and movie to reach to people who need help in the society. “Acting is basically more than what we see on the screen. I could use acting to pass messages to the less privileged out there, to different people in our society.

I could use acting and movies to impact knowledge into people’s lives because there are so many people out there that are looking for one thing or the other and through the expression of what I feel inside, through acting, I believe that I could pass messages across to the average people out there.” The actress to be who was born on 7 May 1991 hails from Epe Local Government. She is the first child in a family of six and lost her father in 2010. She said she loves dancing and acting and has a strong belief that she will be successful, anyhow.

Africa Magic banned from screening Nollywood movies

I heard that Film and Video producers and Marketers’ Association of Nigeria (FVPMAN) with the consent of the various Nollywood guilds and associations has resolved to ban the airing of movies produced under their bodies on Nigerian televisions be it cable or terrestrial.
The associations declared that from May 1, 2012, movies released through the association’s channel shall be barred from all broadcast stations and movies signed on to the stations by its producers will not be distributed through their network.
Mr. Norbert Ajaegbu, the chairman of FVPAM said this resolution is born out of the economic consequences arising from the proliferation of these films on television stations in the country.

Woman alleges actor Segun Arinze impregnated and abandoned her

Nollywood actor and out-going Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN), president, Segun Arinze is currently embroiled in a paternity case that has left more questions than answers in its wake.
The popular actor is the subject of a vehement claim by a certain lady, Amara Obiefuna, who is in her late twenties. She insists the married actor is the father of her 9/10 year old child.
The actor was described as, ‘a very mean person’, by the lady, who then went on to say that, ‘he switched off the phone he gave me after our first meeting and I’ve also met him where we discussed the issue of the pregnancy’.
The pair allegedly met and had a brief fling during the filming of a movie in the city of Calabar in 2002.

The product of that liaison ten years ago is what is now the bone of contention.
However, when called for comments and a chance to ascertain the validity or otherwise of the claims, the ebullient actor, apparently finding the issue distasteful, shut the question down.
‘Please, please, please… Abeg, eh? Over and out‘, he said, before abruptly ending the call.
In the absence of a DNA test, it remains to be seen how this one will pan out for the actor, who is, at the moment, in the midst of an ongoing controversy in the actors’ guild elections.

IME ‘BISHOP’ UMOH, SIR JAMES, LAST PROPHET STAR IN NEW AMAECOM COMMERCIAL

Nollywood star Ime ‘Bishop’ Umoh who has also been doing lots of Ibibio movies has starred in a new Amaecom Global Ltd commercial alongside Sir James who is the President of Comedians Int’l and Calabar-based comedian Last Prophet.

The new commercial which also stars the Sole Administrator of Performing Musicians and Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Jeremy Ekong will be aired on NTA network.

WHAT'S BREWING BETWEEN NSE IKPE-ETIM AND EMEM ISONG ?

Those who are conversant with happenings in the Nigerian movie industry will recall that actress Nse Ikpe-Etim left Nollywood some years back after featuring in a few films.

The Akwa Ibom State born pretty babe moved to the Federal Capital Territory where she spent many years trying her hands in other endeavours.But three years ago,talented producer,Emem Isong,forwarded the script of her award winning film entitled Reloaded to Nse who came out of hiatus and made a sensational come back to Nollywood.
In these past three years,Nse has starred in almost all the films that Emem Isong has produced and their bond is very strong.

However,late last year,top actress Monalisa Chinda who is a close pal of Isong and co-owner of Royal Arts Academy reportedly had a clash with Nse that reportedly brought her friendship with Ms. Etim to an end.It has been discovered that since the development took effect,Ms. Etim seems to have detached herself from the clique and this has been made clear as she has been absent at all the events hosted by her former clique of friends since the last quarter of 2011,an action that was never noticed before when the going was good.

It has equally been discovered that Nse has stopped appearing in movies done by Emem Isong and Monalisa Chinda and was not one of the cast of the new soap opera the duo launched few weeks ago.

Insiders squealed that as it was Emem Isong that brought Nse back to Nollywood and going by their closeness,there was no way she would not have featured in the soap titled Catwalq if their relationship was still intact as she is a very good actress.

Now,everyone is looking forward to seeing how Nse and her godmother settle their rift.

2face proposed at Club 10 owned by Austin Okocha. Annie who is a Nollywood actress (starred in Blackberry Babes) was absolutely surprised and couldn’t hold back her emotions as she sheded tears of joy as she said ‘yes’ to the proposal.

Both have dated for close to one and half decade. We learnt that it was Annie that thought 2face the meaning of ‘Mfana Ibaha’ which is one of the hits in the album which also had African Queen. She already has a child (Isabella) for 2face.

But come to think of it, this 2face get mind o. Pero Adeniyi is carrying his 6^th child and he went on to propose to another babe. How would she feel? Hmm…My mouth shut up!
